lol. Nothing. But I get what you are feeling. I am too old and beat up to do the things I used to. . So. I go shopping at joannes. I still train, and do stuff. Sewing things doesn't make you a wuss. It makes you well-rounded. Interesting. And identifying stippling on a quilt scores with the lady's. At my age anyway.

I guess you are right....I have asked for a food dehydrator for my birthday. We need to come up with more selections for hiking food.

My daughters think I am some sort of mad genius, They have seen me fabricate and weld aluminum and build entire houses and were not impressed, but when they seen me teach myself to sew... Now they're impressed

Look at it this way. In First Blood, Rambo didn't slouch down to the L.L. Bean outlet to buy a poncho. He scrounged up a canvas tarp and some rope, and whipped out his knife, and made one. Rambo was a DIY'er. Then he vented his PTSD rage in a s%&#tstorm of righteous wrath. Remember that next time you are looking at a big doily wondering if it would make good bugscreen. Can I live with lacy bug net? Rambo could've. Count on it.

There's no cause for worry unless you began lactating.

Wait until the ladies at the fabric store greet you by name. They don't even pay attention when I blow thru the fabric anymore. And I use to only window shop at Lowes And Home Depot.
