    Smile Eno and Mombasa net?

    http://www.rei.com/product/754773/en...lenest-hammock

    http://www.mombasaoutdoors.com/page.asp?id=2
    http://www.rei.com/product/728960/mo...r-mosquito-net

A single nest or dbl nest ENO and a mombasa mosquito net

I would like to know if you think this a good first gotta have it now setup for someone who wants to purchass from whats on hand in the store, I want your opinion on this setup as a first hammock for a person who doesn't want to wait for something to ship to them, of course we all know what its like to not want to wait and I'm sure it won't be the last hammock they buy, I get a lot of people in this situation.

I'm asking for opinions on using this two items rather than asking them to order something else, I get many people who just want to try it now and are going to buy something today and this is what I always have on hand in the store.
the net has guy out rings at each corner and some have run shock cord around the bottom and claimed it worked well

I would not be happy with the net. I would have to mod it.
An emergency of my own making...is still an emergency.

Theres some cottage guys here that make **** good nets just for hammocks. I'd get one of their nets and a double
Give a man fire and he's warm for the night.

Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

It is definitely doable. I've not used the 2 together, but if the customer has a bit of imagination and inginuity, they can make it work. I'd still educate them on other options. Maybe push the hammock 1st and tell them to shop around for a better net that is made for the hammocks. ...I took from the op that you are not the buyer, just selling to impatient people...
It's better to be lucky, than good!

Yes I am talking about selling to impatient people, I just want to do the best I can to help people the best I can even if they want something I don't think is the best idea, I can only try to help them, its not right for me to tell them they are wrong, I try to make suggestions but in the end they get what they want and I only try to do my best to make them happy, I love my job and really care about making them happy with their gear, I would like to change their minds sometimes but most of the time I have to make due with what they want.

I've heard that it works well enough. You might be able to convince REI to carry the ENO bug net in the store along with the hammocks. I know that I got all of my ENO Doubles at REI and I would have bought the bug net too, had they had it. You might want to suggest to them that they get a different strap set up than the Slap Straps, though (read POLY).

Ok now we are carrying the ENO net and things are much better, although I do find a few people like my suggestion to start with a HH expedition, due to ease of use and at close to the same money.
