    I let it go

The bed I mean. Its official my Hugely Gigantormous bed (California King) is currently leaning up against my shelves waiting for my sis to see if it will fit in her storage to take off my hands.

I am putting my stand up for good and will be slumbering in my hammock from now on. I am nervous, but I couldn't sleep in it another night not with the threat of a kinked up neck or something hanging over me. I have had great sleep in the hammock and I have some incredible floor space.

So Thanks everyone for the start of a whole new adventure. I will in the future perhapse get myself one of those nice Brazilian hammocks or something but my Fab DIY that is almost 7" wide is fantastic.

I am sad about the bed leaving but feeling liberated all at the same time. Plus I still have my wall anchors if my sister stays over she can slumber in my WBBB.

Welcome to the club. One downside of sleeping in a hammock full time is you get so spoiled that you won't want to sleep any other way. It's hard to go on vacation knowing a regular bed awaits you.

Wish I could say the same! There needs to be a great deal of convincing on my part to get that done!

Thanks, I am not too worried about the Vacation thing as the only place I do go on vacation is the forest. Work travel will need to include a Turtle Lady stand though.

hey sam-i-am (sounds like Dr. Seuss!), thanks for the DUUUHHHH moment.

I will be retiring next year and will probably end up storing stuff until I found out where I'm going to land...I was thinking that I might as well keep my queen-sized bed (with the GORGEOUS rustic Mexican headboard) rather than spend money on a new one.

I DO have a huge, red, GORGEOUS Brazilian hammock with fringe..and a Vario hammock stand......

thanks for making me think about this option.

Its been two nights now and I am not looking back. The most difficult part was figuring out what to do with all the blankets and pillows I had on the bed. They are now stashed in the closet. My sister has my bed at her Boy friends and everything is happy
