After making whoopee slings I needed something else to try with the amsteel I have. So, soft shackles it is! Soooooo easy Amsteel is a blast to make stuff with!

You can also make a continuous loop,,which is super easy to make and thus no knot.

    Here is example..

these are kick butt to use as well. and can use for pussiks too.

Yeah I will make some continuous loops at some point I'm sure, just haven't had a desire to yet. I like the soft shackels because of the ability to take the end off and wrap it around something, just like a carabiner.

Those look really good Yukon. I think i'll be making a few when my amsteel arrives, I can only hope they turn out as tidy as yours! I prefer them to continuous loops also for the reasons you stated.

    continuous loops

I think I will be making a variety of these when relaxing at night. Got my tarp fabric laid out right now. Is ther a tutorial about how to make a continous loop, I've already done the soft shackles and they were fairly easy;.

Nice work! I just made some whoopies, too, and was going to do the soft shackles next, and maybe some suspension extensions. This stuff is fun.

Just YouTubed soft shackles and I have never heard of them before? I am going to make a set out of Para cord since I have used up all my Amsteel. I will buy extra length of amsteel the next time so I can make a pair.

I wonder how strong paracord soft shackles are...I will have to test and report back.
