Smile VIDEO: Gear Talk - My ZPacks Tarp

Let's talk some gear! In this episode of gear talk, I talk about my great ZPacks Cuben Fiber tarp.

I hope that you enjoy my video and that it helps someone the way the hammock videos from the past helped me! I'd love to hear any comments you might have on either my gear choices or my videos!

    Thanks for watching!

By the way, don't miss the wasp sting in part 3

Awesome overview of tarp use with an explanation of all the features! Great video, thanks for sharing. I hope the wasp sting wasn't too bad.

Wow great job very informative! I got stung in the neck last year during a work hike. I feel your pain.

Nice series of videos Duane. thank you

I to like to have my tarp high so I can stand up under it without hunching over.

Thanks - I didn't see that little sucker hiding on the pole and he really lit me up!

I appreciate that. I've been trying to include not only the features of the gear but my rationale for looking for those features. Hopefully some find it useful!

Ouch The finger is bad enough! Don't need to get neck stung. . .

Thanks, I really like a taller tarp, and this one still gives me great protection when I set it up that way. If I need to, I can rig it low and take the sides all the way to the ground, so I love the options. Joe @ ZPacks did a great job for me, and his patience in the back-and-forth correspondence let me get exactly what I want

Thanks! The dimensions are at the end of Part 3, but they're all the way at the end. Here is the diagram of my tarp. I did add one additional tieout in the middle of each side.
