    I was just swimming in shellrock lake yesterday after my ovenight hike around the serene lake loop the lakes are so amazing the hike is beautiful you guys could not have chosen a better place there are trees galore. Not a lot of good firewood at shellrock though have to do some searching

    The good firewood is in the ravines to the south east of the lake. Just gotta haul some in. BTW I am in plus perhaps my 11 year old son for Saturday night, may stay Sunday night too if there is another adult with a kid about my sons age staying too.

    Nothing better to keep a bored 11 year old occupied than another bored kid.

    Gary and Ben, my family friend you met at the Hideaway campsite used my extra hammock for three nights straight and is hooked. She says she want to come to the hang, so we may have another convert and a future forum member....
