    Cool Hello from Blackpool England

Hi to all you fine people in HF land.
I have been hanging for about a year now and I love it. I have a bunch for my friends that come along with me.

We have a few places we like to go. The only problem is if we go to often they start to look lived in( no man made items just wear and tear on the land ).

We are looking for a spot in Scotland to do a winter hang! The thought of snow and hammocking makes me all giddy. so if there are and uk hangers that can surrgest anywhere that would be great.
Thanks in advance for the help

    Chris

    Welcome Chris!
A long time ago I spent a year not far from you in Lancaster. Got to know and love the Lake District, I get back there whenever I can. Last time I did, I did it hanging (which is a bit of trick, but possible with planning).

There are some other HF members up your way, should be chiming in soon. I got to hang with them once on one of the Scottish Lochs (in summertime...)

    regards

Welcome Chris, nice to see you here. I believe Shewie on this forum travels to Scotland frequently so hopefully he will chip in with some ideas for sites.

Hi from the other side of the country.

Good to see more faces from the UK - increases the chances we'll actually get HF hang organised between the lot of us...!

Yeah I'm up for that! It's just permissions in the uk. You can get away with 5-6 people but any more and we would prob end up paying
