I have a Skeeter Beeter Pro hammock and I ran my whoopie slings right through the channel at each end. Would it be a better idea to whip the ends of the hammock and then larkshead the whoopies over the whipped ends? This hammock seems to be a large one. Also, could I try a structural ridgeline on it, or would it interfere with the bugnet. The hammock also seems to have an abundance of bug netting. Yes, I am a newb, and prone to redundant questions.
yeah.. i can't think of a way to add a structural ridgeline to that design, it seems impermissible, due to the abundant bugnet being sewn into the channel. same deal with my switchback. some have threatened to just put a hole in the bugnet at each end..... eek
imho, keep the whoopies runnin through the channel. so far, i like the channel better than any whipping bundle.

I also have SB and use larks head through channel and it has worked fine for me for quite some time although there may be some that would advise otherwise. I also added an adjustable ridgeline that runs through bug net via holes I made using a hot paper clip. The ridgeline keeps net off my face, makes for much better lay, and eliminates hassle of added net suspension.
