Anyone familiar with this Brazilian hammock?

I'm planning on moving up from my DIY ripstop whipped-end hammock to a more comfortable Brazilian hammock for my bedroom.

My wife and I like the looks of this hammock but I'm not sure of the quality or comfort of that model.

If anyone has this one, or one similar in size, could you also provide the distance between anchors (i.e. ridge line length) that you find comfortable?

    Thanks!!

    Mike

I don't know anything about them, sorry, but my favorite tab on their web site is the one that says "Accomplish Nothing" Good stuff!

    That's a beauty.

I sleep in this one every night. http://www.hammocks.com/hammocks/han...richammock.cfm

I like the look of tassels but find they get tangled up with my under quilt.

I don't know that one but I'd say it's too short. Great looking though...

i have the xl with fringe from that site , which is 9' long , i would be a little concerned about the length, if it were a 9' wide mayan at that length that would be different, but for a narrow brazillian i would go for something a little longer,
of course i am 6' tall , so i need that length

I like the looks too. (bookmarked) I am curious though, can you still get a flat lay by laying at an angle?

It is a good hammock. The length is plenty adequate, although not the best one out there in that regard. The material is a little rough initially, but it will smooth out like butter after a month, or so, of sleeping. This was one of my early Brazilian purchases that has since been 'gifted' to a friend.

I'll tell you this much, I didn't pay anywhere near that amount; probably near half the amount. Do some internet searches for that model before you purchase and I bet you'll find one on sale somewhere. Or, wait a couple of weeks. Hammocks.com rotate their sales almost as frequently as most folks change underwear.
