great pics man. enjoyed the trip report. glad you like your bird
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

Very nice report. I am headed up there in a couple of weeks and can't wait. Your report definitely has me more excited for my trip.

Great video grizz. The bear creek campsite is beautiful. The swim at the end of the day was just what the Dr. ordered. It was great to wash the day's sweat and bug dope off before climbing in the hammock. That was my third solo trip to SHT and each section has been beautiful and different. Section 13 was definitely the most rugged and challenging. Hopefully, one of these days I'll get someone to go with me. Having more than one car on the scene would make life so much easier. Not having to rely on the shuttle and being able to use the cars for resupply would be great.

The Cascade River loop area is also great. Lots and lots of waterfalls and beautiful scenery.

Love that section of the SHT......I have hung at that Bear Lake over-the-rocks spot.
Looks like you had a fine ol' time in the piney woods.

MAN!!! I did like to watch your vids, great stuff! The only part I missed is where you were wrestling with that black bear...
