Woohoo... Cold Front Headed This Way!!!!

Here in the Houston area they are about to release water from one of the lakes upstream which is a reserve for city water. They haven't had to do that in like over 10yrs. This heat is depressing. I can't remember the last time it was this hot this long without rain.

I've been in Austin, TX the past couple of weeks. Had the misfortune of having to attend an outdoor event where the standard fashion statement is "black". It was unbearable. My childhood stomping grounds used to be called a lake, but pond would be more appropriate these days.

Good luck down there guys and gals. That kind of heat is just no fun at all!
