    Interesting Leaf Hammock design

I ran across this while surfing:

Designed by Pinar Yar and Tugrul Govsa.

Better for the back yard as executed, but it gets the wheels turning....

For a second, it reminded me of TeeDee's avatar.

Looks tippy to get into. I think once you're in it you'd sink down into the middle enough to fix the center of balance.

My parents had an above ground pool for a few years when I was a teenager. The kind you can get at Sam's Club. It has a plastic wall and a liner that goes inside. You see people toss these all the time after they get tired of the upkeep or a storm comes along when it doesn't have enough water in it to anchor it down. I bet that sidewall would work for the edge of one of these if you wanted one for the back yard. It would be a fun excuse to play with lots and lots of paracord in any event.

It would be cool to make one of laminated wood. But that would be a LOT of knots!

Darn - time to change my avatar now. It's been there long enough I guess.

    I considered this one:

But decided it wouldn't be very comfortable.

Then looked at a few fantasy hammocks like this:

    But again decided nahhh.

Then How about something like a Bridge:

    or

    But they aren't really Bridges.

    Then I spotted this one:

But then decided that NO ONE is ever going to really believe that is me, even I couldn't ! Also, my wife would think it funny for about 30 seconds and then wonder about my fantasies!!!!!

So I finally just decided on one that was someplace I would like to hang.
