    Thumbs up

Good luck with the class as what you are doing is excellent. Two of the AT hikers I have followed this season have had their thru hike plans disrupted by "on trail" medical issues. One was a severe case of Trench Foot and the other was a tibia/fibula fracture as he was just 4 miles into the 100 mile wilderness. One of the hike halting medical issues could have been prevented with Wilderness Medical knowledge and the other could have been splinted with Wilderness Medical First Aid. The fact is the best first aid kit is the knowledge you take with you into the wilderness. Be prepared with the right knowledge.
Warm Soda is providing an excellent opportunity to gain some great information. Just my feelings

I will be leaving the cities around 3 or so if you looking for a car pool, let me know...that would put us at Isinaurs around 5...

It's here, I'm expecting 5 people apart from myself, but we can accommodate more if anyone wants to join us at this late date.

We had a great day today, with four in the class and two bodies to be victims (he he ha ha). I'm laying in my hammock listening to coyotes yip and howl and ricecg snore a few trees away.
We had fun simulating kayakers impaled by branches and other awful scenarios today. Thank you so much to our willing victims who showed up just to hang with us, Rob and Chris. They helped make the experience a great one, especially when they grilled steaks and stuffed peppers for everyone on the campfire. ... Talk about setting the bar high!

Just a little bit left for tomorrow then it's back to civilization.
