Curt, I'm not familiar with the Bison Designs buckles. Why are you looking to swap?

The Bison ones are really cool - they have a great high-quality "feel" to them. I think they're actually a hair lighter, too. They are just over an inch, though, and the slick webbing I use will try to slide and bunch to one side during setup. Once the hammock is weighted they're rock solid, but the simple onrope1 cinch buckles fit my webbing perfectly and it's one less thing to think about. I've been on a mission to simplify my gear list this year - too many little things to fiddle with - and this is part of that for me.

Surprised there haven't been takers so far! I figured there would be a ton of cinch buckles laying around after folks went Whoopie and the Bison ones are kind of unique.

I'll trade with you. I think I have some onRope cinch buckles laying around. Let me look and PM you once I get back to the ranch.

I thought I posted this already, but I do have a pair of onRope cinch buckles to trade. PM me your address and I'll get them in the mail to you.

Put 1.25" webbing on those Bisons, and they're a totally different critter. Fabulous, really.
