I have no UQ either, nor do either of my son's. I just placed an order for 2 of the UQ's for them and 2 hanging systems. Just can't beat the price. They will be doing more car camping and i will eventually be doing backpacking with mine, so I am holding out for a lighter and warmer UQ.
Just have not decided on which one I want yet........so many decisions

Stormstaff,,the Jarbridge is a 3/4 quilt that will keep you warm down to 30 degrees,,length is 58"..you might need a small foot pad to keep the feet warm,,but in 3 seasons to 30..you will be toast taking into consideration how you dress to rack out,,as well as what you use to cover your bod with while sleeping in the hammock..And at the price Arrowhead is selling it at,,its a steal,,if you decide after buying it,,you don't like it,,you can always sell it on this forum as most things that are for sale by members goes very quickly. This is a very good item to start hammock camping with. Very good, and will save you some money to spend on other items you might need in your kit.
    Enjoy hammock camping.

How much of a difference will the width make? 48" on the New River vs 42" on the Jarbridge? 6" gonna make much difference?

I don't seeing that making much difference in the width as its minimal..if your using a sleeping bag or quilt to cover with as you will find yourself tucking them around you,,Most everybody that has this quilt praises its qualities..so its been quite time tested. If your large and broad shouldered,,that you might take into consideration. Also,,you can contact Paul at Arrowhead as they will customize it to your benifit as well.

the 48" is length on the lost river... 44" is the width.

you're only sacrificing 2" with the jarbridge , but gaining 10" in the length.

i'm really trying to NOT get one.. i don't REALLY need it... but i can't make one for $80.
