No offense but I feel like I'm shopping at Safeway. . .

Always trying to make a $buck$ off something.

Kinda makes a guy not want to post any helpful post at all.

Feel like turning in my club-card now.

sorry you feel that way, but this site is a HAMMOCK site, and all things related to hammocks are free. no one is profiting by the donations, aside from the people who use it. people dont seem to realize that websites arent free, and cost money to run. if they were free, trust me, id have a few...we all would.

but the point is, you come here looking for hammock advice and knowledge, you can get that without ever paying a dime. if you had a question about backpacks, im sure theres a website that would be totally free to ask those questions but would ask for donations if you wanted to talk about hammocks!

and there are places on the net for the topics in the donating forums, members here arent a secret society or anything. mostly we talk about shug, ha.

like i said. this is HAMMOCKforums, not DRESSMEforums (which im sure exists someplace, just might want to have safe search turned on for that...) and anything you want to know related to such is free. while it is nice to be able to ask things unrelated and have an all in one learning center, i find it keeps the core of this site easy to manage and navigate, and i always know that my small pittance earns me the right to debate backpack merits or what knife i carry everyday. lol

This place is great for discussing Hammocks and things related directly to hammocks. For all other gear Whiteblazes.net is wide open for all discussion.
