    Smile Knee Pillow - Finally!

For well over a year I've been looking for an inflatable knee pillow and finally found a great solution. The Montbell U.L. Comfort System Pillow weighs only 2.4oz, is easy to inflate, packs tiny (think deck of cards) yet is big enough to do the job. Just picked one up for $20 from another forum member who listed it in the For Sale section.

    Definitely packs much smaller.

If a knee pillow is important to you, this is a good one. Both wide and thick enough.

    Some pics.

That's a good size pillow for that weight.
*Please Note: This pillow is not designed to support your body weight, do not use as a chair.
Should be great for head or knees!

I'm not too wild about it for head use. It had the all too typical problem of allowing your head to roll off the sides.

Are you using this under your knees when on your back or between them when on your side?

    Or maybe both?

Since you have been looking for over a year, I assume you have used the FlexAir pillow.

So, in your opinion how do the two compare?

Jacks R' Better sells them for $1.75 and at 0.6 oz 1/4 the weight. A quick Google search leads to FlexAir pillows for $0.68 each on Amazon and a case of 50 FlexAir pillows is either $24.95 or $29.95 depending on the size desired which comes to $0.50 each or $0.60 each.

The Mont-bell is probably a lot more durable, but at 1/4 the weight I could carry 4 of the FlexAir to remedy that and for the same price as the Mont-bell I can get a case of 50 FlexAir. So durability doesn't seem to be much of a problem.

As for packing size, in my experience, the FlexAir deflates and folds down to a lot smaller than a pack of cards.

I'm guessing that you have tried the FlexAir and like the method of inflating/deflating the pillows better.
