yea it could jumpstart me into DIY mode. ive been wanting to mess with whoopies and making a hammock.

right now ( i have no life, hush) im going thru my gear to see what i have extra of for some PIF's at the hang, and some for the swap meet!

its getting closer guys, im looking into having some "door prizes" and PIF stuff there, so be sure to get there early (working on something special) and have all the gear you dont need to bring to the swap meet!!!

anyone that wants a how-to on a PLUQ needs to bring the materials and ill be happy to show you how its done! youll need:
1 Poncho Liner, USGI surplus the best!
    2 Mini-Biners or "S" Clips
4 Cord Locks (Wal-mart has em, $.58 per box of 4. how easy!)
14ft Paracord or similar light weight, thin line (zing-it, amsteel, whatever. must hold a knot)
    26ft Shock Cord,1/8"
    *stuff sack optional.

Dont forget to sign up on the sheet, as well as check in with the various activities.

redbank, youre near where i grew up (my second childhood at least), went to white knoll high the first year it was open. lived over on cannon trail road.
you gonna come to the hang?
    Small world!

I grew up (and dad still lives) on Platt Springs Rd. about 4-5 miles from White Knoll towards Three Fountains. Might be a wee bit older than you, graduated LHS in '83. Know Cannon Trail well, I used to drive a school bus route there. Of course at that time they called both sections (Muddy Springs to Nazareth and Nazareth to Platt Springs) Robbie rd.

Have a prior commitment for that weekend. If things change I'll let you know though!
