Having about 10 various quilts with my Te-Wa 3 season weighing in around 13.5, it's just darned tough for me to make the move to cuben for the 3 ounces of weight savings. That sure is a nice collection though. I hesitate to look at all of mine at the same time. It makes me think I need to catch the next Qulitaholics meeting.

Wow dutch, it just so happens that I was the guy, who gave the guy the titanium whistle to give to you. Hahah

That is an awesome collection! I ordered my cuben summer phoenix with 5oz of down, in hopes of taking it to 30 degrees. I think its realistic. I should be getting it this week. Im assuming it'll be all cuben. How bad do you think this will affect the loft? Got me worried, haha.

Thorwren posted the update to their newest quilt additions this morning. I put my order in for a 20 deg. Phoenix with cuben inner shell promptly afterwards.

The world of video really helps in making a decision. Pictures work better than word descriptions, but a video really covers it well. Thanks, Dutch, for making and posting this! I've been considering a Phoenix for this upcoming winter season, and now have my confident order placed!

I know a guy that is missing a titanium whistle just around the time you gave the guy a titanium whistle to give to me.

I did some research and gave a lot of thought about this UQ. I was very specific with Adam as to exactly what I wanted. Then he made me whatever he wanted anyhow. Turns out that is IMO the best quilt you can make. If you have all cuben I think it will take a little more time to loft and you might want to shake it out. Also if I know Adam, he hasn't started it yet and you can change it. The weight of the Mom55 is close to the weight of the cuben and it is a little more pleasing to the eye and touch. In any case you are going to get an awesome quilt and have a really cool beard. Get a six pack and feel lucky.

Darn it I was going to order another and now look what I did. I'm last in line. Well I'll be hiking next summer too.

Adam this does not excuse you in any way of not hiking with me next month. Quilts and tarps can wait.
    Peace Dutch
