    Hi from Dallas

Hello all. I've been checking out this forum a while so I'm not exactly new. I just started backpacking this past year with some friends and love it! I've always enjoyed camping i had just never done the backpacking thing before. I've camped before in inexpensive hammocks and thought one would be cool for BPing so I started looking on the internet and stumbled onto this forum. I think I've been on here researching stuff everyday since, this is an awesome source of info. I finished my first DIY project (1st sewing machine experience) a few weeks ago and tested it out for 2 nights. It's a hammock based on Grizz's videos, thanks a whole lot for taking the time to explain your construction. I had to re-learn the whole quadratic equation thing (learned it in college and thought I'd never use it again-who'd have known!) Anyway, thanks for the great place to meet people and get ideas.

Looks great! I gotta try me one of them bridge things. (Try as in test, not build... I have neither the time, skills nor patience to DIY such an undertaking.)

Welcome aboard from Florida. Great looking work on the bridge.
