It seems my fuel bottles grew legs at some time and now I can't find them anywhere. Of course it's been years since I've hit the trail. I still use an old whisperlite and they seem to be kinda old school. I am going to a group hang at Dolly Sods next month and hope to have my kit collected by then. thanks in advance!

I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I think MSR bottles are ripoffs of Sigg bottles. Sigg bottles will also work for your whisperlite.
I picked up some MSR fuel for my Pocket Rocket in early June at the local Academy. Seems like I remember seeing the canisters that you would need for your Whisperlite then, but can't be 100% positive.
What size do you want?
pretty much any size will do. I used to really like 20's they were a nice in-between size. I never needed more than one bottle that way. Boiling water doesn't take much. Two Tents is sending one, but another would be a nice backup. I was going to try to make the Zaleski weekend this weekend so will be checking a couple of sporting goods stores here in Newark, I'm not holding out much hope though. Most everyone seems to have gone isobutane or some kind of gas.
