Question hello fellow hennessy-ers, i want to play a game

to remove the bugnet, or not to remove, that my hanging friends is the question. i was thinking of removing the bugnet on my hammock and then just putting a velcro strip down each side and on the tops to facilitate easy entry and flexibility. yay or nay? the decision is up to you
    awwwww yeeaaah!!!

Why mess with something that works? Just pick up a net less hammock for those times you feel like going topless.

I put a sleeping bag zipper in mine. The bug net holds my bag in the hammock. I went out once in my ENO single and lost my foot pad in the middle of the night. Woke up with cold feet. I'm gonna sew a bug net on that one too
I tore up an old sleeping bag and turned it I to a 3/4 UQ. I used that zipper for the HH worked out great. Only spent on the shock chord. System has been warm into the mid 20's.

I put two full length zips on my Explorer, there's pics on another thread here somewhere, and I love the flexibility and ease of entry/exit/sorting out UQ, but the best bit for me is being able to make the morning coffee without having to get out of the warm, and then laying back and enjoying the view with a lovely hot brew

I think you will find a zipper mod much better than Velcro mod. Easier to seal from one side and not full of forest detritus.
