Wow I've been looking for a pink leopard bike seat cover, like, forever.

Enjoyed the video. That looks like a fun trip. I never thought one could get
hammock, quilts, and tarp in a bar bag. That's a great setup.

The only thing missing is the frame bag...still waiting...custom to fit your big triangle. That will make the difference for the colder trips.
I was suprised how much stuff would go in the seat post bag.
If I had to choose between the three rides we did this summer it would be in this order:
Greenbriar
New River
Alleghany
Just because you feel much more remote in the first two, but if you wanted to take a sheila and do the nice room/shower each night the order would be reversed. On the Greenbriar you must be self supportive in case of breakdown--no cell service for the entire 80 miles. On the Alleghany worst case is roll or push the bike either way 3-5 miles.
I'll be doing the New again sometime after my AT section hike-its close and a nice trail...more little ups and downs though.

I live 2.5 miles from the Cumberland terminus, just down the C&O Canal towpath in fact. Wish I knew you were going to be here! I would have given you a free shuttle and shown you around a bit.

Now you tell me! That shuttle was expensive and the driver had to have help via Jimmy Neutron's Droid in finding the trail terminus in Cumberland (the driver was using an ifone but that doesnt mean anything does it?)
JoeCross you live in an outstanding area of the world. Liked the Maryland portion better for sheer scenic beauty than the Pa portion but it looked better than the walls at work if you know what I mean.

MM, I'm jealous. Looks like a great trip. It and the C&O are on my bucket list along with the Katy Trail.

Dale thanks for bringing my attention to the Katy. I'd seen signs while in MO but it didn't register until now! Consider that one done next late spring! I was thinking about the C/O but the Katy will be much better.
