So it's a no go for me. It was vetoed by Mrs. LRR. Cant really be all that up set cause I was on the Lolyasack last week for 4 days but ill catch up with ya soon, hopefully at the fall MAHA.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

It's looking like T-storms will nix tonight for me . Still up for Saturday in the Pines? Only 20% chance of rain for Sat night according to NWS. Batona Camp maybe?

Lower Forge Camp, Wharton State Forest

So, it's decided. I'll be hiking in to Lower Forge Camp from Basto tomorrow around noon. Kayak Karl and Maple are planning to join me but a little later. Kayak Karl said he'd be setting out around 5 pm. Anyone else is welcome to join us.

I just got back and posted a mini-trip-report:

It turned out to just be me, but was a great little get-away!
