    Your a lucky man!

Don't wait until October to learn what works and what doesn't. Practice hanging close to home and take notes. You can have a miserable night in a hammock too.

For those of you that are still arguing with a significant other about hammocking...just keep at it, they will convert! Attached is a pic of her in *her* BB.[/QUOTE]

Nice, and the Hammock is not bad either. ;-) We are about to take the portable cabin out for some "camping".

I will testify to that. I got pretty chilly a few nights ago. I started a thread about it.

My lady hasn't done more than afternoon reading in a hammock. I doubt I'll get her to overnight in one any time soon. I'll keep trying though.

If you camp at the Linville Gorge campgrounds off the Blue Ridge parkway, get the last camp site as you are leaving the campground (across from the Rangers check in station). Lots of trees to hang from. My wife and I stayed there last Oct.

Glad ya'll are heading to the Gorge with some comfy hammocks! I'm sure it will be a memorable trip for both of you!
We are in the same boat! One step farther for me though....she facilitates my passion by making me stuff to do it!!
