I also have a SBP and just ordered the Anniversary Sale: Marlin Spike Hitch Whoopie Kit from arrowhead equipment. I also ordered a SRL from Paul also. I hope it helps because I purchased the SBP used and the suspension he had on it was just some straps that stretch quite a bit. My kids love it (7, 3, 2) but dumped it and made a small hole in the bugnet. Does anyone know the best way to repair a hole in this type of screening?

Good luck with your SBP and I will give an update once I receive my order

sew the hole closed. imagine stitching a wound, the netting can stretch quite a bit.

I repair small holes with seam sealer, but it depends on the size of the hole.

    whoopie suggestions

Here are two examples of the whoopie sling solution. The first I had braided three strands of Amsteel which puts it in the over 4000 lbs category. I think that the diameter (about 3/4") is too small for your weight and would be harmful to the tree. Some would argue it is for me at 190.

The second is a more conventional strap. These straps can be had in varying widths and tensile.

Either strapping method only requires one loop. I have one 42" and one 62" to accommodate tree diameter.

Both are supported by a marlin spike from a piece of arrow.

The whole system is fast and easy both up and down, even with cold wet hands.
