So, what do you folks say ?
Should we have a Alpacka Adventure in Sweden/Scandinavia 2012 ?
Tell me/us ?
Give us some ideas of nice rivers,
i think we learned a lesson about open waters last time

B/C he got them now
As you know, I tried Vojmån a few weeks ago. Only the last leg between Vojmsjön and Vilhelmina, though. A couple of hours gliding / paddling everyday would take us down the river in 4 to 5 days. A couple of big whitewaters with portage, I think. And hopefully it won't rain for 5 days straight, raising the river 4 dm.
Edit: Oh yeah, and a helmet is a MUST in a river like this. And a pfd, of course.

- It's just badass to have a yak.
You can see what Vojmån looks like on my Google+ now.
Plenty of shelters along the way, some have firewood. Supposed to be one of the finest greyling rivers in Sweden, although the rain messed that up for us.
From Vojmsjön to Vilhelmina it's basically one and the same fishing license.

Alpacka Adventure 2012 sounds great.
My plan for this winter is to find a way to afford buying a packraft!
Vojmån sounds great to me!
I think there are plenty of fine rivers to paddle in, the biggest problem is transfers. How to get to the starting point and how to get back from the end point.
No longer with a great "Yukon Yak Fever"

Sorry dudes, only in Swedish (so far).
If we have at least two cars, it's no problem. Leave one car at the end, shuttle everyone and everything to the starting point. When done, send two people to fetch the car at the starting point. Or we can do what me and Råbert did, hail a cab.

To much time on your hands? Waste some time here
Bieggolmai, I see this video on Youtube : It wasn't you filming in the Alpacka ?

What is the lenght of your paddle ?
I already have a 230 cm paddle, and I wish to buy a 4 parts paddle.
I have the choice between 220 cm (BIC Sports) and 230 cm (Advanced Elements) paddles.
I was wondering if a 220 cm will be long enough. My inflatable canoe is 96 cm wide at the max width. Does someone have a 220 (or less) ? Are you satisfied with its lenght ? (hum......)
Thanks !
Yes that's Bieggolmai's video
To my knowledge he does not have a paddle ?
I rented his Alpacka with the paddle you see on that video.
In Alpackas you tend to use long paddles, b/c you sit low and have reach far out.
My Sawyer Alpacka paddle , 5-pieces is adjustable between 205 -230 cm.
And as i understand it :
Short guy = long paddle.
Long guy = shorter paddle.
What kind of boat do you got ?My inflatable canoe is 96 cm wide at the max width.

Ok !
And you set and use your paddle at which lenght, Moski ?
What is your height ?
My canoe is this following one. It's an old model but I like its colour so I bought it in Germany (in 2010). I didn't want the lastest one, KCC 305 G, with a blue swimming pool's color...
Length : 310 cm - Width : 96 cm - Weight : 13 kg (appro.)
