    trying to prevent CBS....

Hi folks. So I am leaving Wednesday to do a backpacking trip to Gulf Hagas, Maine. We might stop and visit our friend who is a raft guide for a free white water rafting trip on the Penobscot (including lunch at an area with Mt. Katahdin in the background, great to know people in the business! ), then on to Gulf Hagas...but were not sure yet.

Anyways. Course I got to take my hammock, so this will be my first hammock encounter with cooler temperatures at night. This weeks lowest lows will be in the 49 - 51 range. I would like to know if I am prepared for that.

I have a therm-a-rest Pro Lite 3 (saving for UQ) and a 35 degree bag, more like 40 (after UQ then saving for TQ lol). I feel like I will be all good...but wanted to run it by yas. The whole compressing of the sleeping bag rendering the underside useless and CBS thing is new to me. Thanks!
