    Simple question regarding JRB Tri-glides

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.

I have an ENO Doublenest hammock, and I'd like to change out the suspension (currently have SlapStraps, which I purchased before finding this forum).

I'm more interested in simplicity of set-up than I am in reduction of weight.

So I'm considering buying the Tri-Glide set up from JRB.

Here's my question: I can run the looped end of the webbing right through the "end-channel" of my ENO and then run the free end of the webbing through the looped end, right? Will this be a sufficient attachment at the hammock end? Is there any chance of it doing damage to the hammock? Also, I think I remember someone else talking about this set-up, and they mentioned cinching the webbing near the hammock? What would I use to do that, and how close to the hammock should I do it?

    Thanks for any help/suggestions!

That will work perfectly fine. No risk of damage at all.

That would be with a different attachment method. No need to bother with the idea you stated above.

To have the triglide close to the hammock, you can leave the stock suspension on. Put the loop end of the webbing around the tree, feed the free end through the loop (or use a carabiner to connect the loop to the webbing) and then put the webbing through the stock carabiner at the hammock and use the triglide to secure the end to the webbing going to the tree.

What you describe is efficient ,fast and light...In Fact it will be lighter than the stock set up even before you add suspension to it...

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll be buying the Tri-Glides.
