Good dang stuff Raul....I always had sock condensation problems but it was warm. Look forward to following your sock sojourns.
I was more Huckleberry Hound than Smurfs but that was a right goodie. Same color scheme.

Awesome man! I was going to actually offer to make you a bug net when I heard you wanted one. Glad you got yourself one and are skeeter free. A winter sock may be something I need to look into for this winter or I may be one frozen Fronkey.

I got my tulle Papa Smurf Bug Sock today. It is a perfect fit for my Grand Trunk Ultralight kit. After a quick test it is out in the back yard drying from a quick permethrin treatment.
It is a great ultralight design-- all business, no frills, and well made.
Great (and fun) demonstration of great products!
Thanks for taking the time!

Glad you liked it Shug. Congrats again for being the toughest man in the woods!
Wow man thanks for thinking of me. I'm excited to actually test it out. But looks like the next time I'm hitting the piney woods is November when my work sched dies down. At the sound of the beep It will be 9:30pm and I'm still in the office meeting a redic deadline.... BEEEP <gunshot>
Yep very nice design. Still up in the air if this will replace my blackbird hammock. Look forward to seeing how this fairs out
No problemo. Thanks for watching!

WM in the house... loved the papa smurf bit. i think you'll really like the traveler/papa smurf bugnet. it's a really great lightweight combo.
my experience is this:
-yes, you do need to use caution with the tulle (i have a little tear in mine already)
-in rain, splash up can be an issue w/ all the extra netting that hangs underneath. plan this out when you pitch your tarp expecting rain
-it's nice and breezy. glad i went that route and not the noseeum.
i am not yet sold on the winter sock unless i'd be using a minimalist tarp. i just can't see how the condesation would outweigh the benefits. i'm anxious to hear your unbiased review after winter...
keepin' it gangsta.
Great review WM! Really like the looks of that bugsock, especially after getting knawed on for a week in the Shuswaps!
Cheers
