Sorry, I am a noob at this, I want to make a bottom shield for my new Jarbridge I got from Paul, " Thanks Paul great UQ".
This is for when it will be raining up here in the Northwest.....

A bottom shield is about as easy as it gets. You just need a rectangle that meets the coverage requirements that you have.
JacksRBetter sells one for about $37. Another option would be to buy a DriDucks poncho and devise your own way of securing it under your UQ. There are many other fabric options, but most of those will either not breathe enough and cause condensation inside the shield or they may not be water resistant enough thus allowing moisture to come from the outside.

That being said, you'd be surprised at how seldom you'll actually need a weathershield to keep your UQ dry if your tarp provides sufficient coverage. The weathershield usually comes in handy when there is a rolling fog or mist that comes under the tarp. They also provide a significant boost to how low your UQ will take you.

To make your own DriDucks weathershield, all that you need is a DriDucks poncho for under $15 (about on par with buying other fabric). Determine the long sides from the narrower sides. The long sides will go down the length of your hammock and the shorter sides will go on the ends. On each narrow side, sew a channel wide enough to hold a drawstring. Insert drawstring in each sewn channel and it's done. To attach it under your hammock, just cinch the drawstrings and use the slack to tie to your hammock ends.
For more flexibility, use shock cord for the drawstring.
