    Question "Participated Threads" Option

Lots of forums that I visit and use have an option that allows me to view threads that I have posted/participated in...it would appear (unless I'm missing something) that HF does not.

Would it be possible to change the user-interface to allow people to view threads they've participated in, without having to go into our member page then look at our statistics and then look at threads we've posted in?

    Thanks,

    Jamie - nfa

Tun on auto subscription without notification for threads you create or reply to.

UserCP > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription Mode > Pick your choice.

This will subscribe you to any posts you reply to etc... if you choose to have an email sent when there is a reply you will get one, otherwise if you choose no email you can go in and see your subscribed threads in your UserCP

    Hope that helps.

After you change your options to auto subscription--no e-mail notification, click "Quick Links" then "Subscribed Threads" for a list of all the threads you've participated in.

    Thanks...ish...

That'll work, but it's still pretty crappy/kludgy compared to almost every other forum I frequent...just sayin'

I can do it using Tapatalk, as they have functionality built in...

What software does every other forum you frequent use?

Couldn't tell you...sorry...I assume that there are lots of different forum software packages out there, and HF is the only one I frequent missing this feature.

I love HF, and don't really mind the shortcoming in the forum software, it just seems weird.

Are you talking about the icon some forums put by threads you looked at? One of the other forums I frequent has a check mark icon by to the right of the thread description on threads I commented in.

If you select New Posts, or Today's Posts, you can look for this icon (envelope with an arrow on it) that should show up in the left hand column if you have commented in the thread.
