    Cape Chignecto. (Widowmaker) NS. Can

ive been wanting to do a cape chignecto Loop trip since last year when i did 12k in and back out again. its a 51k over very rough terrain and stupid me thought we could do it in 3 days. well that didnt happen...

i dont know if you can use the link and see the photos but my hammock setup is in there. went as light as i could. on the first day i nabbed a stick off the beach to use as a walking stick (Tradition) and that stick was used for more then a few things including gravity water filtration and raising my rain fly for the hammock.

just the stock hennesssy with the under cover and snake skins. i used my day clothes in place of the under pad when i slept it worked perfect and my clothes were warm and dry in the morning.

    good to be back.

Don't mean to highjack this post, but I was going to post pictures of my recent cape chignecto loop trip as well. I was there 8/19 - 8/22, wonder if we crossed paths. This was my first trip using a hammock, a recently purchased warbonnet blackbird and edge tarp. Worked great each of the 3 nights in the back country, kept me dry during overnight rains, and made my tenting companions jealous. There are a few more hammock and other photos from the trip in the album linked above as well.
