Thanks Scott for your post! I'm sure these didn't took more than an hour or two of your time to draw up. Joking really. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and answering my slew of DIY questions after making my materials purchase from you.

I've said it before and will again - Scott is phenomenal! He is always great to deal with, his shop well stocked and good pricing and with this addition - he simply goes above and beyond. Thanks again Scott (and your team) for all your great work and the time you have spent to give it to us.

Yes, all the materials listed are those available at DIY Gear Supply, but there are lots of other great suppliers for our DIY gear needs as well. Don't feel you need to get them from me, I just wanted to spur you on to DIY greatness with some easy beginner projects.
Sounds like you are busy enough....Thanks for taking time to put these together for us not so intuitive fellers (specifically myself)

First off - thank you everyone for the kind words. I really don't have the know-how or training to pump documents like these out, they take me probably 10X the time it takes someone who knows what they're doing, but they've been fun and I've learned bits here and there to speed things up.

Feel free to toss out ideas for other installments of these style instructions. I will not do any copies of things like Warbonnet or Hennessy or other professional designs, or patented designs, but that said, there's tons of projects that we can still put together. I will focus on simple and one-way-to-do-it sheets. There are lots of ways to do things, but that just won't fit on an 8.5x11.

But I do have a slight quibble with the 3rd page of the suspension set. You show the fixed eye of the whoopie sling done with a plain Brummel and no stitching on the bury instead of a Locked Brummel. Since you haven't stitched the bury, the plain brummel can come undone as you cycle from loaded to unloaded and back over time.

My suggestion, show stitching the bury or convert from a plain brummel to a locked brummel.
Thanks TiredFeet. It'll be a while yet (excessively busy this month), but I will revise the instructions to reflect that. I appreciate the note a lot!

If anyone sees any other significant errors, please share.

Nicely done Scott! Gives me more to do with all that fabric I bought from you!

+1 to sticky - although there are so many stickies in some of the forums, I think it's about time to propose another forum section. Stickies? Instructions? Best Of?
