    First ever hang in Nashville

Iv'e been backpacking (Smokies mostly) for the last few years... sleeping in a tent until recently in a bivy under a tarp. I'm always trying to get that pack weight down. About eight days ago I ordered a WBBB as I've seen posted on this forum and on the web in general that they are top notch. I'm still anxiously awaiting an email saying it's shipped, but tonight was my first actual hammock experience.

My wife has been a fan of lounging in hammocks for some time and for her birthday I purchased her an ENO doublenest and surprised her with it just moments ago. If my brief experience lounging with the dog while waiting for her to return home is any indication, I've made the correct decision to leave the ground. Amazing comfort!

Anyway... I've been lurking around a while and collecting information here and just wanted to say thanks and hello.

Welcome Designerider. I grew up in Gatlinburg--world's strangest place to grow up--it's just not normal. Love the Smokies. Hope you have a great experience with the WBBB.

hey from high point nc and welcome to Hammock Forums.

the kind folks here are among the most knowledgeable in the hammock world.

i'm not one of those knowledgeable people so this site is a good reference library for me.
"ask and ye shall find" really applies here. that's what i do.
