Thanks, Lonely Raven, I keep practicing....
pgibson, I am looking forward to finally meeting you in Idaho!
Thanks, Sparrow. I do have another netted bridge hammock about 3 1/2 ounces lighter, but it will not fit the fat inflatable pad. My bamboo poles will knock off another 2 ounces. I am glad that this gives you an idea for your project!
That is very cool. I find it tough to put a net on a bridge. I like that it is zipper free.
Peace Dutch

Hi Jazilla. 25" is the measurement of the pad not the hammock body. The finished fabric width is 32". Even so, you are still correct it "is a pretty skinny bridge".25in is a pretty skinny bridge. How is it sleeping on yur side. Do your knees hang out?
It is great on my side, but there was a slight learning curve to shifting the position without causing a fair amount of side to side tilting. And yes my knees will protrude into the bug netting when I bring them forward unless I make a conscious effort to avoid that. But the fabric hangs loose enough along the side that this should not compress the bag very much in cases where my knees might protrude (this remains to be seen). I have noticed when sleeping on the pad that I am less inclined to bring both knees forward at the same time in a tucked position. Something to do with the increased buoyancy that feels better to have at least one leg extended.

Fatpad rocks!
Pad users should be standing in line!
The one I just made is around the 32'' center width. I have been looking at Hangnouts bugnet idea and I think I want to put a spin on it to make it a completely removable bugnet.

Cool! Shug made one like that. Unless you are talking about one that would completely envelope the bridge hammock with a pull down ridge line opening. I saw somebody on the forum made one of those for a gathered end hammock. I am not sure if it would work as well with the narrow waist of a bridge hammock. But of course, I would be very interested in seeing it!
