    Did a TERRIBLE thing

I was looking for a machine shop this morning, and while I was driving around I passed a building that said:
    CLARK JUNGLE HAMMOCKS
I couldn't resist, I zipped into the parking lot.
But the front door had a sign that said "by appointment only".
I KNOW whoever was sitting at the front desk saw me nearly dump my coffee zipping into the lot.
So I called the number and asked how long in advance you needed to set an appointment because I was sitting in the parking lot.
Gary, who answered the phone said come on in, so I did.
He took me through each of the models, they are hanging in the lobby, had me lay in each one as he went over all the features, talk about a puppy dog sales technique!
But I do have to say it felt quite different from my SBP, which by the way I have yet to spend a whole night in, that is to come this weekend!
    Now I have hammock envy!!!
To top it all off, he has to tell me they have all the models I was interested in, in stock and I could walk out the door with it right now!!
Talk about hard to resist, but I saw the image of SWMBO looking at my credit card statement and the divorce papers that would follow (i'm sure she would take the hammock), so I resisted.
But I REALLY REALLY wanted to!

Whoa, that is terrible! You walked into a hammock manufacturer and came out without a hammock. That's some will power for sure!

I'll say, sounds a bit more like Fiction to me.

my friend just bought a Clark – those are some quality hammocks. The lay is flatter than my HH (doesn't quite compare to my DIY Asyms, but still..) and the design is very well thought out. My only concern was the attached tarp and the heavy rope suspension, but both of those gripes could be easily remedied.

Yeah I am saving to get one! I might make the driving trip to go get it! Tent camp up, and hammocking camp back down. Wonder is they do military discounts?

Looks like you need to change your hammock status.

Good on you. Can't wait until I get the chanct to move up (without divorce papers, that is...).
