Any recommendations for a non camper/hiker of where/how
(other than youtube) to learn about all of the knots i read about on the forum.
Wow,I actually learned these knots during the winter, and got to say it really helped out today on the trail. This was my first time using tarp/bug net hammock set up and yeah it took longer than a floor tent but it was fun and looks killer stealth.Oh and I bought those nite ize adjusters and man they rock.Even looks cooler when using a headlamp to look around and see the reflected guy lines.Cant wait for my next weekender!
The Zeppelin bend it's one of my favorite knots to tie and easy to untie after being weighted.
There is a great app called "knots 3d" for knot newbies.
Must-view for any newbie hammock campers!!!!!! Awesome to practice in front of the tv.
It is not really a hammock or camping specific knot and I don't have a video link but anyone who spends time in the wilderness should know how to tie a one-handed bowline knot. And be able to tie it with either hand. Practice until you can do it in your sleep.
