Yeah! My order(s) shipped today!

Well, my order did indeed come on Tuesday. 20 days after I placed the order for the 20 F Phoenix UQ with the Cuben Fiber option and 1 extra oz of overfill. That order # was 835. As well, my order I had placed sometime before also shipped with it. My custom top quilt, order # 793.

I did a video and an initial write up of the UQ on my blog. I will get around to doing the TQ sometime next week. Check it out here:

Looking good buddy. If I decide to go UL like you and the WM, I mite just have to get me a cuben in the future.

20 days. That's just about what I calculated was the turn around time, based on looking at other recent orders and receipts since July. That would put me right around another week. Cool! Can't wait.

I will be out camping the last of this month, but it will be too warm for my burrow until probably mid-November. Even after I get it, I will have to wait longer to actually put it to use.

I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster trying to be patient regarding my quilt.

Had a notice from PayPal on the 6th that my Potomac UQ had shipped. No Tracking Number. I know from past experience that its no good anyway until the package reaches CA. Can't test it this week anyhow, warm spell until the weekend. I think this is how I felt as a young boy waiting for Christmas morning!

I like it Stick. I think if I were to do it again, I would leave off the velcro also. Not sure how hard it would be to remove it but you can buy the snaps and put them on yourself. i just did some DIY Fleece TQ using the snaps and they came out pretty good.

Yeah I don't think that I will do much as far as mods on this quilt, it is too pretty for me to mess it up! Although, I will probably try to round the corners out a little with a pair of scissors.
