Will there be a second annual patch? I plan on making a day trip to see everyone and would like to pick up a patch to match the awesome one from last year.
Look up before you hook up!!

Of course there will be a 2nd Annual Florida Hammock Hang patch.
It's being developed in the super secret design Tiki-Hut test facility as we read this.
To receive one you need to be there. We might need to have you do tricks or something for those not hanging overnight. <kidding of course>

    Too early....

Darn you Phil for getting this thread started so early. Now I have to sit here and read posts and dream about hanging until January. We should have thrown this together starting about 1 Jan....

Seriously though....it's nice to get a bunch of the logistics out of the way early. I've got at least a couple of other hangs coming up to "quench my thirst" between now and then.

    Food and Stuff

Last year we had both a Low Country Boil and Gumbo for the Saturday Evening meal. It seemed to work out pretty well, those who could not eat shellfish were still able to eat gumbo and those who had no dietary concerns were able to eat either or both.

So my question is: Would that be what you would like to see done this year as well? Thoughts? Suggestions?
Well, This would be my first hang, so I have no clue on the food bit. Do we all pitch in and group cook all meals, or is there just a dinner or so planned and on our own the rest of time?

Gumbo and boil sounds great! Whole hog or so and they come free if some in the group go hunting prior.

Are grills available? I make an awesome Fajita(not that sizzling restaurant crap) and am willing to cook, but they require lots of grill space for groups of 50+-(at least 2 large Weber propane backyard style)

Are Adult beverages allowed at the park? Fajitas and Ritas??

I an a CIA trained former Chef, so my services are available to help out in the food dept.
