Stuff sack for a ridgeline organizer

I got a new WB Traveler and it doesn't have a ridgeline organizer. I have some of the smallest Nite Ize S-biners (size 0) and I just hooked the stuff sack on the ridgeline with that. It hangs down too far, so I just threw it over the side, behind my head. Works fine for my radio, phone and glasses.

Those little s-biners are great for attaching UQ suspensions too. They are tougher than you would think.

Love that idea. Another option if you want is to clip the bag to the loop at the end of the ridge line. That will keep it handy, yet far enough away to not get in your face

It really isn't going anywhere with the weight over the side and the head end lower. I just shoved it to the end. You could get a fifth of Scotch in there easy

One tenet of ultralight hiking is to eliminate stuff sacks as much as possible. I do like everything neat and tidy in my pack, so this gives me a multiple-use justification

I do something similar using a prussik knot. I just clip my s-biner to it and move it about as needed! Works like a charm!

    ridgeline organizer

I used the leftover tulle from my diy bugsock and made a little pocket with two mitten hooks that connects to the ridge-line. -- weighs almost nothing and I can put some essentials like my wallet, headlamp, and my kindle! (i made it the exact size of my kindle).

I am doing the same thing,,using a existing stuff sack to keep from carrying anything extra..works great and I either shove it after attaching to ridgeline to either end of hammock,,,thanks DaleW as I just for some reason never thought of a S-biner for attachment as I always carry acouple of those and had been looping the stuff sack thru its own tie strings in attaching,,s-biner will work better and make it slide easier,,how ofter we overlook the little easy things.

My ridgeline organizer from ENO (as far as I know they don't make them any more) is possibly the best thing they make. Easy to use & hang, it is tensioned by prussiks and hooks and like most ENO stuff it stuffs into itself to pack away.
