Did you finally get up and make that quick look around to see if anyone saw your flip over. Funny how we do that. As to the chep hammock,,, I have probably spend enough money these past few months on all my accessories and materials to buy the finest hammock and net and straps from the pros if I had really saved the money.

I didn't flip, I dropped straight on my butt onto the patio. No one was around to hear me make the air VERY blue. I said, "oh gosh, golly, gee wiz," but I said it real loud, in an ancient French dialect

And yes, you can nickel and dime yourself fiddling with cheap equipment.

I'm gonna learn how to drive a sewing machine and make a hammock using some insulation ideas I have. Matter of fact, I can start by making a Bishop bag out of the leftovers from that $%^& GTUL.

Why not buy some fabric from DIY Gear and make your own? Gathered end hammocks are very simple to make.
