    If you go and do an extremely long hang,,your going to have to raise your tree hugger straps way above your head,,way high,,,as your going to have your hammock end up on the ground with you in it. 6ft whoopies on the end,,and then vaious size tree hugger straps for the different dia. sized trees you end up using,,because I have to provide for the wife also,,I use a set of 6 ft straps and also carry a set of 8ft straps,,and if necessary,,use a long one on one tree,,and short one on the other end,,or what ever works best split between hers and my hammock. small trees,,double the strap around it, then hook your whoopies into it, either a toggle or beiner works fine,or a dutch clip.
