Sorry I sent that last post from my phone. I am using some dye I use for leatherworking. Its a dark brown and appears to be working great. It doesnt dry dark brown, but its not glaring white anymore either.

I have washed it several times in the sink even using soap. Its still holding on.

That's excellent news! When I first got my tyvek I ran it through the wash and noticed that the printing was fading. I figured if Dupont couldn't figure out how to make printing stick to their own product, me with a box of rit die didn't stand a chance. I look forward to the details!

Pics pics pics..... gotta have the pics.... and the first one is free.... I'm hooked on pics.
I hope it is better than my try with some spray paint.... the fumes were a bit thick but eventually settled down and now it is stiff again. DOH!

Afraid to run it thru the wash...

I wonder if leather dye will work on cuben fiber...

...and where do you buy leather dye?!?!

I have found in Dollar Tree stores for, ummmm, wheres the receipt, ummmm, ok, $1. Haven't tried it on my tarp yet, but on a patch piece it held pretty good!

OOHHHHHHH!! THAT ol' stuff?!?! Cool beans! I wonder if it'll dye my WHITE Guide Gear (sil nylon) tarp (WITHOUT adding any stiffness or weight!)... . I'm going to look for brown or tan. Stay tuned!

    Yo, caleath...
Did you buy many bottles and soak the tarp in it or did you sponge it on?

Sorry fellas i have been pretty sick. Not sure whats going on but havent been up to taking pics yet.

I only did a test piece so not sure how it will look on a tarp. I had the stuff left over from leather working projects. It doesnt take much and dont get in on your hands unless you want to be what ever color the dye is.

I used Feibings ?sp? stuff works pretty good.
