    What's up with Treklight?

I've tried going to there site at least a dozen times over the past couple weeks and it always says there down for maintenance. Are they on vacation or are they putting up new stuff? Anybody know what's going on?

They are probably updating for the new products.

There was some discussion recently about ENO's new products (ProNest Hammock, ProFly Tarp, etc), and since TrekLite sells an eerily similar product line, they are sure to have equivalent products on the way.

Wonder if the news that their hammocks are probably made by Ticket to the Moon and are pretty much TTTM stock iitems have taken the wind out of their sails. Pretty unoriginal. Perhaps they are really only a marketing company.

I like their product and they've treated me good when I've done business with them. Very friendly and quick to reply on any questions you ask. I emailed the other companies a couple of questions I had when I was doing my shopping around for a hammock and they still haven't answered me back. Treklight also seems to be the only one of those type of hammocks that offers a lifetime warranty with the product they sell, at least from what the information the others sites offers on there warranties. Unless of course they've updated recently but I think not. I don't mean to plug an endorsement but I wanted to share my experiences as they were quite positive with Treklight.

I hope they do have some new stuff. Can't wait to see it if they do. I know when I talked to Seth a while back he said they had plans for new products for this year.

I was at their site looking for the 'biners that they sell.

That was a couple of weeks ago and the site is still down. I'd like to know where to get more of them. They were a pretty good value.

Actually, the treklight biners are lighter, on my scales about .7 oz. I'll see if there's a picture of one out here.

I actually have 2 Omega Pacific 'biners like you pictured. They are pretty nice.

But here's the picture Cannibal posted a while back of the treklight biners. See, GREEN instead of RED.

Oh, ok. It all makes sense now. Thanks for sharing. I did a quick search for the TekLight biners without any success.
