    My new best friends

These velcro straps have eliminated my tarp sleeves, and made tarp life a whole lot simpler. I found them at Walmart, they are very durable, VELCRO brand. I use three on my cuben and spinn tarps. One in the middle and one on each end. I first roll up the tarp while its hung, strap these babies on, and then roll up the tarp from one end to the other. Each tarp will then fit perfect inside an orange Walmart dry sack.

    Please excuse the webcam pics.
PS - The walmart Outdoor Products drys sacks are where its at for cheap sacks.

I use those for a lot of things:
    Power Cord organizers . . .
    and . . .

    well . . .

    I use those things for a lot of things . . .

    Oh . . .

seat belt retainers . . . so the shoulder strap isn't so tight.

    I know, I know . . . don't.

Very cool now I will look at my camping gear for a use.

I use those same ones on my whoopies. I wrapped one around the whoopie and kept wrapping around itself until it formed a "collar" around the whoopies. After I loop the toggle around the marlin spike hitch, I slide the collar up until it reaches the knot. The outward pressure of the whoopies keeps it in place, and the collar keeps the whoopie from slipping off the knot. Peace of mind for virtually no weight.
