How many use the Night Owl Hammock from WL?

Pros/Cons of the Night Owl Hammock with the draw string for the head/foot box. Pics? Can it be made as a single layer? I like how it looks and am looking for alittle feedback from those that have one or have used one.

I have one and i like it a lot. I know it's hard to believe but, it is as comfy as a WBBB to me. I like how much I can see when I'm in it. Very open hammock. I put a removable ridge line on attached with a Dutch biner so I can have a seat when needed. The adjustable foot box AND head box is a sweet feature. It has a nice big pad pocket. Marty has answered all my questions the SAME day! I went ahead and got the WL bug net for it but I have not used it yet. I liked the craftsman ship so much ( really neat sewing job on the Owl) that I bought a Slug to store it all in when I hike. That is an over sized Bishop bag which makes set up and packing really quick. Once i put everything on/in the hammock on the first day of a hike-that's where it stays -with the slug. Sorry no way for me to do pictures.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

I believe he told me it couldnt work with a single layer from the way its constructed. but I mean its still a really lightweight hammock
Dale Gribble: I'm thinking, "new hammock." For me, laying and swaying in a hammock is like a steady morphine drip without the risk of renal failure.

Randy : yea but just remember yer roots and where ya come from....you got Hennessy in yer blood son......

    TwoTents beat me to it.

i have quit using my WBBB. after the first night i knew this was my favorite hammock. flat, open, convertible, simple, high quality and well thought out.
it's just a dang good hammock.

i'm 6'1" 210ish and it's the flattest i've ever been in a hammock. i'm not a stomach sleeper, so i haven't tried that sleep position, but i've been comfortable in every other. i have slept feet rt. feet left and even strait down the middle w/feet split by the "hump".

it is a foot longer than most hammocks but it fits easily under my SuperFly, my setup is about 9'6" gathered end to gathered end.

i like it so well i may sell my WBBB and SuperFly as they have only been used a half dozen times, i'm still undecided but if i do, i'll be buying another NO for sure.

Hey flatline,,read all the previous posts in your other thread,,I had read those before when they were fresh and new,,just forgot,,I see where yu're using a 110" ridgeline??? Is that the size your using now? I got to get me one of WL's hammocks! lol,,being a gear freak is costly! And,,do they have a store open yet? If they do,,thinking about driving down just to look/see...
