I'm a big guy (6'5") to set some context for my choices. I have both a 3-season Yeti (6" longer than standard) and a 3-Season Phoenix UQ. I also have a MW4 full-lenth UQ for cold conditions (colder than the 3-season ratings).

The Yeti is (roughly) a 2/3 length UQ while the HG model is roughly a 3/4 length. I prefer the Phoenix for my cooler seasons, but use the Yeti during the warmer summer months to save weight and bulk. The additional coverage from the Phoenix is a positive for me as a "person of stature" when it's colder and when coverage or lack thereof is particularly noticeable.

If I had to choose only one UQ, I'd pick the 3 season Hammock Gear product.

Love my HG 3 Season Phoenix Hybrid. I'd take it down to the 20s no worries, and if it's below 20 you're talking deep winter, which is a different monster all together.

The Phoenix Hybird is the lightest 3S (20*) UQ available.

As above mentioned I would look into the Incubator or Phoenix over at Hammock Gear. Being 6 ft. and broad shouldered I decided that the Yeti's dimensions were not for me for me but I know of taller peoples who do use the yeti with much success so its really a matter of preference. But between the phoenix and incubator I am a fan of the phoenix when I back pack but like the option of the full length when I car camp. I also thought I would be able to get away with one UQ but that was 4 UQ's ago. What temp rang are you looking to stay warm down till as well? I don't know New England temps? But you could always go 3 season and supplement with a pad and clothing, or just go for full winter and vent during 3 season but a winter UQ in the summer is a lot of extra weight to carry so their are really a lot of angles to look at this from. HYOH YMMV

Question on the HG 3-Season - some have mentioned the full-length for car camping, but the listed weight difference is 7 ounces? Is it that much larger packed?

I generally strive towards lighter gear, but am ultimately a creature of comfort. Seven ounces weighs far less than a six pack, and I lugged those things all over the place.

Forgot to mention. For summer, I'm good with a CCF pad and/or a poncho liner DIY rig I'm looking into.

Depends on your pack size. If real estate is key in your pack a full length UQ is gonna own a lot of property space.

It depends on pack size and weather you want to carry the xtra 7 oz or not. For me I choose not to but HYOH YMMV
