    2/3 3/4 4/5 Decisions?

Been looking at LeighLo's underquilts here lately and have been seriously ready to pull the trigger a couple of times but can't decide on the "perfect" length.

Not sure if I want to go full length and put up with the little added bulk and weight or go the 2/3 and risk not getting all my bits snuggled into a warm spot.

I have been leaning towards having her fab me up a 50" version. Kind of a hybrid between a full and 2/3, maybe more like a 3/4-4/5. My head and maybe only from about mid calf down would be out of the insulation.

While there are no question marks in the body of this post there is a question in here. Let me know what you more experienced folsk think on the matter.

I am 6' even and sleep on my back while in my WBBB.

I don't think you will see much difference unless you go to 60". If you use a pillow this will cover you from the shoulders down.

I have it from a good source that Leigh makes custom 60" UQ's quite often

You left out the 7/8-ish length quilt.

This would be the Jarbridge River from Arrowhead Equipment. I got a lightweight one made for summer. Use it over about 45°. I sleep cool (i.e. I get cold easily and like to be warm), and have used it up to 78° and humid and been fine. I like this length because it doubles as mosquito protection during the bug season.

I also like the price, which is less than some other down quilts. Excellent quality and very worth the money.

    Just my 2˘.

I was thinking somehwere between 50" and 54". I guess that would mathematically be a 3/4.

I do use a stuff sack loosely filled with clothes under my head. And I tend to sleep very warm. I am thinking a 3 season 3/4 (or thereabouts) will get the job done.
