A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
I have to seam seal my new Packa I got at trail days and I think I will try permatex. I am hoping it makes the seams stronger versus using the spray. It seems like it would have more of a gluing effect.

I've had no issues with the Permatex on my gear. MOF, I'd use that now over the SilNet because it's (A) cheaper; (B) easier to obtain(locally); (C) applies easier, IMO.

Just wanted to report that I had no leaks in my tarp with Silnet on the seams and Silicone Water-Guard on the rest of the JRB Hammock Hut through some substantial rain overnight at RRG this past weekend. It all worked flawlessly, no worries.

I called my Car Quest guy, he has never heard of Permatex Flowable 100% Silicone Windshield Sealant, he did however say if I had a part number, he would get it for me!!! SO, I need a part number people! Please!!
On a sort of related topic, Casy (My care quest guy) has never, in 22 years of dealing with him, not heard of something automotive, I was shocked!
